Lancaster Against Loneliness
Marketgate Shopping Centre is Home to Lancaster Against Loneliness
No commitment, no registration, no charge
Together we want to end loneliness in Lancaster. That’s why we have set up Lancaster Against Loneliness.
Come meet our wonderful volunteers for a chat and a cuppa at our free-to-attend drop-in sessions. We get that times are tough right now, especially when you’re feeling a bit isolated. That’s where we can help. Our volunteers are a friendly bunch, and we’re all excited to welcome anyone who wants to drop by for a chat.
There is no obligation to regularly attend, no need to register or leave your details, and definitely no costs – not even for the hot drinks and biscuits!
Let’s all get together in Lancaster to beat loneliness by simply chatting with each other!
Details: Every Monday between 1pm to 3pm.
Location: Sessions are held inside the Ping Pong Parlour, located near M&S and Waterstones.
We work in partnership with Age UK Lancashire, St Thomas’ Church and The Friendship Centre Lancaster. Representatives from these groups often attend sessions to offer additional support and services, if you would like to find out more here are some details:
